Are you satisfied?

Today’s sermon was on “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for the righteousness of God”. It was mentioned that we are often dissatisfied. I do have to admit, I fit the category of what was mentioned. Many a times, when I get something good, I fail to see that it is something good, but rather I see that some other people got something better. And it would bog me down for quite some time, harping on the part where others got something better. And needless to say, when this part about dissatisfaction was mentioned, my name surfaced in CG’s mind. =P But I thank God for today’s sermon, for He has shown me certain things about myself. And now I am going to make an effort to be even more thankful and satisfied with what He has given me. =)

Went to chose my wedding and evening gowns today. Honestly, it is no easy task. I used to think that it will be very simple, and I should be able to settle it very quickly, but I was wrong. There were so many gowns to choose from and what you see may not be what you get. There were some gowns that I liked, but they just looked wrong on me. Will be uploading some photos shortly.  =) But I must say, CG was very nice about this. He helped to select the gowns and I must say, he has got good taste and he’s very sharp! Of course, this is evident in the good choice he made in April 2006. =P Jokes aside, I really appreciate that CG took the effort to go with me to the bridal studio and even helped in selecting the gowns. Thanks, dear!  =)

After trying numerous gowns (I honestly cannot count!), I finally had a design for my wedding gown. I also shortlisted 2 wedding gowns, 1 kua and 2 evening gowns. CG also managed to shortlist 4 suits. These are still tentative cos I’m having second thoughts about one of them. =P I think it’ll still be some time before we really finalise everything. But I’m glad we’re making progress. Now we need to think about colour theme, what colour shirts to match etc etc… Oh man!  =)

I spent 3 hours there to choose my gowns as well as CG’s suits. But now that I am having second thoughts about one of the gowns, I may have to spend some time there again…
